This is a beautiful & relaxing place. You can really tell you both put your heart & soul into making this cottage one people will remember.

After 21 years of marriage, between work, kids , school and day to day chores, its nice to find a place to retreat and rekinnder the love a couple has for each other.

Today is our first anniversary . we both wanted a quiet and private place to celebrate , just us. Your beautiful cottage turned out to be the perfect place. The place is wonderful and we are grateful to you for offering people the chance where they can be alone and relax and feel at home.

Our weekend was better than we expected. This was the most we have relaxed in a long time. You did a wonderful job building this cottage. Thank you both.

We were looking for a private , quiet, clean get- a way on our way to visit our son at Truman State . Flinthill Guest House far exceeded our expectations. A beautiful private setting that is cozy and feels like home. Our Lasagna was delicious & the hot tub - just perfect. The house is wonderful & we loved the upstairs bathroom. It is romantic & cozy.

We will definitely be back & will surely tell our friends! Thanks for all the work you did to make it so homelike & cozy.

One very stressed couple came to your cottage & left totally relaxed.We sat on the porch & enjoyed the birds & the scenery.Mellowed out in the hot tub. Enjoyed the delicious dinner you left for us,mellowed out in the hot tub. Sat out on our deck off the bedroom & had our wine & counted a million stars in the sky. Had coffee in the morning on the porch with the hummingbirds. Enjoyed the muffins you brought over for breakfast. Perfect - we will be back.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and looked great. It was a very relaxing weekend. The hot tub was excellent. We haven't been able to sleep through the night in the last 6 months, due to children. We would love to come back when it is warmer outside and we definetly recomend Flinthill Cottage to others.

This has been a busy year for us so far. We have been involved in our church,both of our children are in college and we had worked ourselves to the point of exhaustion. We needed to get away to get some rest.

Flinthill Cottage was everything we were hoping for: a place of seclusion where we could get alone foe some much needed rest and relaxation: accomidation -perfect:food- delicious: time to renew our souls-priceless!

My husband & I came here to celebrate my 27th birthday. We wanted to see Hannibal and get away from the busy city, and your cottage was the perfect solution to what we needed (quiet,secluded,beautiful,rustic,etc.). We will recommend this place a thousand times over to friends.
